Propagation & Potting
Plant propagation can be divided into four basic types: Sexual, asexual (Vegetative),
Layering and Grafting.
Our propagation department runs with a dedicated team who carefully select cuttings to
obtain new plants. Plant propagation is the technique of creating new plants from existing plants.
It is very much a rewarding process, by selecting the appropriate method for each variety.
Once the cuttings have rooted these then progress to the next stage of being potted up into 2/3 Litre
pots they will root through and establish, once rooted through, ready for sale on the Nursery.
